Available Departments and Roles
- DMPK (Drug Metabolism and Pharmacokinetics) Qualification: M.Sc / M.Pharm / PhD in Pharmacology, Biological Sciences, Biotechnology or related fields Experience: 2–12 years
Key Skills & Responsibilities:
- Design, conduct, and interpret in vivo pharmacokinetics (In Vivo PK) studies
- Subject Matter Expert (SME) level review of QC in ADME/PK and Bioanalysis study reports
- PK-PD modelling & simulation using tools such as GastroPlus, Simcyp, PK-Sim, and R
- Transporter studies and hepatocyte-based uptake/inhibition assays
- Physicochemical profiling: Solubility, LogD, Plasma Protein Binding (PPB), GSH reactivity
- In vitro metabolism studies using microsomes and hepatocytes, CYP inhibition/induction
- Permeability assays using MDCK and Caco-2 cell lines
- Support IND-enabling ADME/PK and Bioanalysis packages
- Process R&D – Chemical Development Qualification: M.Sc (Organic Chemistry) with 2–8 years OR PhD (Synthetic Organic Chemistry) with 0–3 years Key Responsibilities:
- Route scouting, process development, and scale-up of API intermediates and drug substances
- Optimization of existing processes for cost, safety, and environmental benefits
- Technology transfer support to pilot and manufacturing plants
- Process R&D – Particle Science & Engineering Qualification: M.Sc / M.Pharm Experience: 2–8 years
Key Skills:
- Crystallization and polymorphism studies
- Particle engineering and size reduction techniques
- Process Analytical Technology (PAT) implementation
- Solid-state characterization and modelling studies
- Successful tech transfer of particle-designed processes
Required Qualifications Summary
- M.Sc / M.Pharm / PhD in relevant discipline (as mentioned above)
- Strong hands-on experience in the respective domain
- Excellent documentation and report-writing skills
- Ability to work in cross-functional teams
