SastaSundar, one of India’s fastest-growing digital healthcare and pharmacy e-commerce platforms, is rapidly scaling its supply chain network. To support this aggressive growth, the company is urgently hiring a Senior Warehouse Manager with deep expertise in pharmaceutical warehousing, cold-chain compliance, and high-volume e-commerce operations. Immediate joiners will be given strong preference.
This is a high-impact leadership role reporting directly to the National Head – Supply Chain and offers excellent visibility in a unicorn-backed organization that combines healthcare with cutting-edge technology.
Key Responsibilities
As Senior Warehouse Manager, you will own end-to-end warehouse performance for a large-scale facility. Core responsibilities include:
- Leading operations for a 100,000+ sq. ft. warehouse with 2000+ associates
- Ensuring 100% compliance with CDP, GDP, and cold-chain regulations for pharmaceutical products
- Driving WMS implementation, process automation, and inventory accuracy (>99.9%)
- Optimizing labor productivity, space utilization, and cost per unit
- Reducing damages, shortages, expiry, and returns through robust quality systems
- Implementing Lean, Six Sigma, and Kaizen initiatives for continuous improvement
- Managing 3PL relationships and vendor performance
- Building and mentoring high-performance teams in a 24×7 fast-paced environment
- Leveraging warehouse software such as Shipsy, Unicommerce, EasyEcom, or similar platforms
Required Qualifications & Experience
- 15–18 years of hands-on experience in large warehouse/distribution center operations
- Mandatory background in Pharma (CDP/GDP/cold chain) OR high-SKU E-commerce / FMCG / 3PL logistics
- Proven track record of managing facilities >100,000 sq. ft. and teams of 2000+ associates
- Hands-on experience in WMS implementation and advanced inventory management
- Strong knowledge of regulatory compliance (DCGI, FSSAI, GMP) and quality audits
- Certification in Lean, Six Sigma (Green/Black Belt preferred)
- Expertise in manpower planning, cost control, and KPI-driven performance management
- Familiarity with warehouse tech stacks (Shipsy, Unicommerce, EasyEcom, LogiNext, etc.) is a significant advantage
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills
