Intas Pharmaceuticals is Hiring for Senior Executive – Purchase

Intas Pharmaceuticals Ltd, a leading Indian biopharmaceutical company known for its plasma-derived products and injectables, is hiring an experienced Senior Executive – Purchase for its advanced Plasma Fractionation Centre in Ahmedabad, Gujarat.

This is an excellent opportunity for procurement professionals with 7–10 years of hands-on experience in biotech/pharmaceutical purchase (preferably injectables) to join one of India’s fastest-growing pharma companies.

Key Responsibilities – Senior Executive Purchase

• Handle end-to-end procurement of Raw Materials (RM), Packing Materials (PM), QC consumables, and R&D requirements
• Manage indirect procurement categories including IT, facilities, logistics, and services
• Identify, evaluate, and onboard new vendors with strong negotiation
• Lead contract management and ensure 100% compliance with company policies
• Monitor supplier performance against SLAs and KPIs
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders (Production, QC, R&D, Projects) for timely procurement
• Maintain accurate documentation for internal/external audits and reporting

Qualifications & Experience Required

• Any Graduate (full-time)
• 7 to 10 years of procurement experience in Biotech / Pharmaceutical industry
• Mandatory hands-on experience in SAP MM module
• Proven track record in RM, PM, and Capex procurement
• Preference for candidates with exposure to Injectables / Plasma Fractionation / Sterile manufacturing

Skills & Competencies

• Excellent negotiation and analytical skills
• Strong vendor & stakeholder management
• Good communication (written & verbal)
• Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel

Salary & Benefits
