⭐ About the Role: Consultant Editor
As a Consultant Editor, you will be the first reviewer of newly submitted manuscripts. You will ensure compliance with editorial policies, clinical trial guidelines, and publication ethics, enabling only high-quality scientific research to move forward for peer review.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform initial manuscript checks for journal scope and editorial policy compliance.
- Assess submissions for clinical trial registration, ethics approval, and reporting standards.
- Review English language quality to ensure clarity and scientific accuracy.
- Identify salami-slicing, redundancy, and integrity issues.
- Recommend more suitable journals when necessary.
- Coordinate with authors and editorial teams to maintain smooth publishing workflow.
- Support improvements in customer interaction and publication processes.
- Manage tasks independently from coordination to execution.
Required Qualifications
- M.Pharm, M.Sc, PhD, or PG degrees in Lifesciences, Biotech, Nutrition, Public Health, Physiotherapy, Healthcare Management, Physician Assistant, Dialysis Therapy, Echocardiography, MLT, etc.
- Experience as Editorial Assistant or in peer review services (JEO/RSE/RI/Desk Transfer).
- Strong understanding of scientific concepts, medical research, clinical trials, and publication ethics.
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
