The Associate II Medical Writer will support Alcon’s safety and regulatory teams by creating high-quality clinical and safety documents that comply with global standards. This position requires strong communication, writing skills, and hands-on experience in medical or safety writing.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and review aggregate safety reports, safety narratives, clinical summaries, and literature-based documents.
• Support medical device vigilance documentation in line with global regulatory requirements.
• Ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance with internal SOPs and regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including safety operations, regulatory, and clinical teams.
• Maintain document quality using electronic document management systems (EDMS).
• Conduct literature searches and summarize findings when required.

Qualifications & Skills

• >2 years of experience in:
  • Medical device vigilance
  • Pharmacovigilance (PV)
  • Medical or safety writing
  • Aggregate safety reporting and literature summaries
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Experience with electronic document management systems (EDMS)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
