Key Responsibilities of Quality Manager
- Oversee complete Quality Management System (QMS) as per ISO/IEC 17025:2017 and NABL guidelines
- Maintain and update all quality documentation, SOPs, and records
- Independently plan, coordinate, and face NABL Integrated Assessments and surveillance audits
- Lead internal audits, proficiency testing, and inter-laboratory comparisons
- Drive continual improvement initiatives and root-cause analysis (CAPA)
- Train and guide technical staff on quality and accreditation requirements
- Ensure 100% compliance during regulatory and client audits
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in a NABL-accredited food testing laboratory
- Proven track record of independently handling NABL Integrated Assessments
- Master’s degree in Food Technology, Microbiology, Chemistry, or allied sciences
- In-depth working knowledge of ISO/IEC 17025:2017 and NABL-specific requirements
- Excellent documentation, analytical, and communication skills
- Prior leadership experience in quality department of food testing lab preferred
