This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on literature surveillance, signal detection, and risk management activities while collaborating with expert teams in pharmacovigilance, regulatory writing, and medical affairs.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive literature searches across scientific databases such as PubMed, Embase, Scopus, and Google Scholar.
- Perform systematic searches for aggregate reports, signal detection, and risk management activities.
- Screen and evaluate scientific articles for relevance, accuracy, and data quality.
- Prepare literature review reports in line with regulatory and company standards.
- Collaborate with pharmacovigilance, regulatory, and medical affairs teams for timely deliverables.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of search strategies, indexing terms (e.g., MeSH), and database functionalities.
- Support preparation of literature surveillance reports for PSURs, PBRERs, and RMPs.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Biotechnology, or related disciplines.
- 1–4 years of experience in literature search, scientific research, or drug safety in pharma, CRO, or medical services.
- Strong knowledge of literature search methodologies and scientific databases.
- Understanding of pharmacovigilance processes and regulatory reporting timelines.
- Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to work both independently and in teams.
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and reference management tools like EndNote or Mendeley.
