Key Responsibilities
As a Cell Culture Associate, you will play a critical role in advancing our biopharmaceutical projects. Your responsibilities will include:
- Performing mammalian cell culture (adherent and suspension) with precision and efficiency.
- Maintaining and scaling cell lines for research and production purposes.
- Conducting transient and stable transfection to support stable cell line generation.
- Optimizing media and feed formulations to enhance cell growth and productivity.
- Executing cryopreservation techniques to ensure cell line viability.
- Performing molecular biology techniques, including PCR, transformation, and plasmid isolation.
- Documenting experimental data and adhering to Good Laboratory Practices (GLP).
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to support project goals.
Qualifications
To excel in this role, candidates should meet the following requirements:
- Education: B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Biotechnology, Life Sciences, Microbiology, or a related field.
- Experience: 1–3 years of hands-on experience in mammalian cell culture (industry experience preferred; strong academic background acceptable).
- Skills:
