As a Clinical Data Associate III, you will:

- Maintain awareness of project contracts and communicate updates to Project Managers.
- Review and adhere to study-specific Clinical Data Management Plans (CDMPs).
- Create and enter test data for User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and perform UAT across data entry screens, edits, and listings.
- Receive and enter lab normal ranges, perform QC checks, and manage discrepancy outputs.
- Handle paper and EDC studies, including Data Clarification Forms (DCFs), internal QC, and filing in the Data Management Study File (DMSF).
- Perform SAS mapping QC, coordinate other Clinical Data Associates, and provide project-specific training.
- Ensure consistency of external datasets with the clinical database (e.g., PK data, laboratory, IRT data).
- Generate ad-hoc data cleaning reports and assist with post-migration testing.
- Support Data Transfer Requests, CRF/eCRF completion guidelines, and PDM activities as backup.
- Participate in internal/external audits and customer meetings as required.
- Understand interim, dry run, and data cut processes and interact with teams like Safety, Medical Writing, Biostatistics, Clinical Programming, and Coding.
Required Qualifications
- Education: BA/BS in biological sciences or related natural science/healthcare field.
- Experience: Clinical research, drug development, data management, or healthcare environment preferred.
- Technical Skills:
- DM systems (Oracle Clinical, Rave, Inform preferred)
- MS Windows, Word, Excel, and email applications
- Familiarity with medical terminology, ICH/GCP guidelines, and relational database software
- Soft Skills: Excellent communication, time management, multitasking, and problem-solving skills.
- Other: Ability to work independently and in teams; minimal travel up to 25%.
