📋 Key Responsibilities
As a Medical Writer II, you will:
- Prepare, write, and edit clinical documents including protocols, study reports, and investigator brochures.
- Manage clinical trial disclosure activities across registries like ClinicalTrials.gov, CTIS, and EudraCT.
- Ensure compliance with ICH-E3, FDA, and EMA guidelines.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with data management, biostatistics, and regulatory affairs teams.
- Conduct peer reviews to maintain scientific accuracy and consistency.
- Support protocol registration and clinical redaction processes.
- Mentor junior writers and support internal quality improvement.
- Perform literature searches and stay updated on global regulatory guidance.
🎓 Qualifications and Experience
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in life sciences, pharmacy, or a related discipline (Master’s preferred).
- 1–3 years of experience in clinical trial disclosure and redaction.
- Proficiency in databases like PharmaCM / Disclose.
- Strong understanding of clinical research principles and medical terminology.
- Familiarity with AMA Manual of Style and regulatory documentation standards.
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
Desirable:
- Experience writing clinical study protocols, narratives, and annual reports.
- Client interaction experience and ability to work in cross-functional teams.
