Job Responsibilities
Quality Assurance (IPQA & QMS)
- Conduct IPQA checks and prepare SOPs for in-process quality assurance.
- Perform line clearance, sampling of APIs, and drug products.
- Review batch production records (BPR) and ensure audit compliance.
- Manage document and data control, including control sample management.
- Participate in investigations for deviations, OOS, OOT, and market complaints.
- Track change control and prepare trends for deviations.
Quality Control
- Analyze raw materials, intermediates, APIs, and drug products using HPLC, GC, FTIR, and UV-Visible spectrophotometers.
- Conduct sampling, review, and release of materials and products.
- Perform laboratory investigations for incidents, OOS, and OOT.
- Operate advanced instruments like LCMS, PXRD, and AAS for quality control.
Production
- Operate DAC columns in API manufacturing processes.
- Prepare SOPs and maintain production records.
- Verify and dispense raw materials, ensuring compliance with production protocols.
- Manage manpower and handle equipment for efficient production operations.
Qualifications
- Education: B.Sc./M.Sc. (Chemistry), B.Pharm, or M.Pharm.
- Experience:
- Quality Assurance: 3-8 years (API industry exposure preferred).
- Quality Control: 2-12 years (expertise in HPLC, GC, and wet lab analysis).
- Production: 3-8 years (knowledge of API manufacturing processes).
- Key Skills:
- Proficiency in IPQA SOPs, line clearance, and audit compliance.
- Expertise in analytical techniques (HPLC, GC, FTIR, LCMS, PXRD).
- Strong documentation, data control, and manpower management skills.
