Key Responsibilities
As an Associate I – Patient Safety & Experience, you will:
- Process case files as per Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Collaborate with affiliate offices to gather complete datasets.
- Conduct reassessment of data, assign accurate product/event codes.
- Handle initial and follow-up reporting assessments.
- Respond to Manufacturing QA requests and Health Authority inquiries.
- Initiate quality investigation records and ensure regulatory reporting compliance.
- Review complaint records for Intra Ocular Lens (IOL) and other surgical devices.
- Support reconciliation activities and audits.
- Escalate potential safety issues to management.
Qualifications & Skills
Minimum Education:
- Graduation in Science.
Preferred Education:
- Pharmacy (B.Pharm/M.Pharm)
- Optometry
- Biomedical Engineering
- BDS/BAMS/BHMS
- Registered Nurse
Experience:
- 1–2 years in healthcare.
- Preferred: Device Vigilance, Pharmacovigilance, Regulatory Submissions, Clinical Research, Medical Coding, or PVPI.
Essential Skills:
- Strong communication and decision-making abilities.
- Knowledge of medical device regulations (domestic & international).
- Familiarity with ophthalmology, safety databases, and medical coding.
- Basic proficiency in MS Office.
