Key Responsibilities
As a Contracts Specialist I, you will:
- Support commercial contracting processes, respond to contract inquiries, and manage edits.
- Review NDAs, Work Orders, and Change Orders for compliance with company standards.
- Advise internal leaders on deviations from standard contracts and assess risks.
- Draft, finalize, and coordinate agreements across internal teams.
- Manage the entire contract lifecycle, approvals, and documentation in CRM systems.
- Conduct peer reviews for junior team members’ deliverables.
- Organize and maintain contract files for quality control and activation.
- Support negotiations for MSAs, DPAs, and SLAs when required.
- Assist Business Development with client contract inquiries.
- Participate in audits, interdepartmental projects, and manage DocuSign uploads.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in contracting.
- 3+ years of commercial contracting experience, preferably in pharma or CRO.
- Strong understanding of complex and non-standard agreements.
- Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel.
- Exceptional organizational, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work independently in fast-paced, multi-task environments.
- Attention to detail and risk management mindset.
