Responsibilities
- Upstream Processing: Perform cell bank preparation, fermentation process scale-up, and equipment qualification while adhering to Quality Management Systems and SOPs.
- Downstream Processing: Conduct protein, VLP, or peptide purification using chromatography and FPLC systems, and troubleshoot biochemical analytics.
- Analytical / LCMS: Develop and validate analytical methods, characterize biopharmaceuticals, and utilize chromatography and mass spectrometry expertise.
- Virology: Execute virus assays, including neutralization and pseudovirus techniques, and improve cross-functional processes.
- mRNA: Leverage next-generation sequencing, bioinformatics (Python, R), and qPCR techniques for molecular biology research.
- Bioconjugation & Purification: Develop vaccine bioconjugation methods and apply carbohydrate chemistry for purification processes.
Qualifications
- Education: B. Pharm, M. Pharm, B. Tech, M. Tech, or M. Sc in Life Sciences.
- Experience: 2–12 years in vaccine R&D or related biopharmaceutical fields.
- Skills: Expertise in upstream/downstream processing, analytical method development, virology, mRNA technologies, or bioconjugation. Proficiency in Python, R, or qPCR is a plus.
