Are you an experienced SAS Programmer in Clinical Data Management (CDM) looking for a fully remote opportunity in Bangalore? A global clinical research leader is hiring for the role of CDM Programmer II (SAS). This position offers a chance to lead data programming activities, mentor junior programmers, and deliver high-quality data management solutions in a collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities
As a CDM Programmer II (SAS), you will:
- Provide technical leadership in clinical data management activities and deliverables.
- Independently perform database development and data validation tasks.
- Define, create, and test data listings using SAS programming.
- Create Data Transfer Agreements (DTAs) and manage data transfers.
- Perform reconciliation listings and generate specialized reports such as patient profiles, MPRs, SSTs, and SAE reconciliations.
- Extract and integrate data from various EDC systems.
- Mentor and train junior programmers while supporting process improvements.
- Collaborate with IT teams to troubleshoot and resolve system issues.
- Participate in corporate and departmental process initiatives.
Qualifications & Skills
Education:

- Bachelorโs degree or equivalent in life sciences, computer science, or related field.
Experience:
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in SAS programming and CDM activities.
Technical Skills:
- Strong command of SAS, SQL, Crystal Reports, SpotFire, and JReview.
- Proficiency in relational database systems (RDBMS).
- Knowledge of GCPs and SOPs for compliance.
Soft Skills:
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication.
- Demonstrated leadership with mentoring capabilities.
- Problem-solving ability with process improvement mindset.
