Sun Pharma Laboratories Ltd, one of India’s leading pharmaceutical companies, is inviting applications for the role of Clinical Research Associate (CRA) in Chennai. As a CRA at Sun Pharma, you will play a critical role in site management, investigator engagement, protocol training, and ensuring compliance with GCP and regulatory guidelines.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct site feasibility and identify potential investigators.
- Negotiate and finalize study budgets, contracts, and Confidential Disclosure Agreements (CDA).
- Prepare and submit documents for Ethics Committee (EC) approval across study centers.
- Oversee Investigational Product (IP) dispensing, inventory management, and reconciliation.
- Ensure timely site initiation, monitoring, and close-out activities with proper documentation.
- Train investigators and site staff on study protocols, procedures, and Good Clinical Practice (GCP).
- Monitor patient recruitment, source data verification, and query resolution.
- Report SAEs, SUSARs, and comply with Sun Pharma’s pharmacovigilance (PV) policies.
- Identify risks, perform CAPA for underperforming sites, and ensure corrective actions.
- Collaborate with CRO partners for data management, statistical analysis, and database lock (DBL).
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Pharmacy, Nursing, Biology, Chemistry, Public Health or related field.
- Post-graduate Diploma in Clinical Research preferred.
- 1-5 years of relevant experience in clinical research or site monitoring.
- Strong knowledge of clinical trial regulations, ICH-GCP, and PV compliance.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
