Key Responsibilities
As a Medical Surveillance Specialist at IQVIA, you will:
- Monitor and evaluate clinical laboratory results from central labs on a daily basis.
- Review data from eDC/data management platforms to ensure compliance with study protocols.
- Conduct preliminary reviews of lab results, flagging clinically significant trends or abnormalities.
- Communicate with investigator sites for additional clinical information.
- Serve as liaison between IQVIA Medical Services, sponsor-designated labs, and project teams.
- Identify and report potentially significant laboratory trends to Medical Advisors.
- Attend project meetings and assist Lead Medical Surveillance Specialists with project setup.
- Stay updated with medical and laboratory knowledge through seminars and continuous learning.
Required Qualifications
- Education: Bachelorโs degree in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Biotechnology, Microbiology, Biochemistry, Nursing, Medical Laboratory Sciences, Physiotherapy, Dentistry, or Medical (Allopathy/Homeopathy/Ayurveda).
- Experience: 2โ6 years relevant experience, including a minimum of 2.5 years in medical surveillance.
- Skills:
- Strong ability to integrate and analyze scientific data.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in data management and word processing tools.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and detail-oriented mindset.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
