Job Responsibilities

As a Sales & Business Development Manager at ALS India, you will play a pivotal role in expanding the company’s footprint in the food, pharmaceutical, and biologics testing markets. Your key responsibilities include:

  • Driving Sales Growth: Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the food, pharma, and biologics sectors to meet sales targets.
  • Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring high satisfaction and repeat business.
  • Market Analysis: Conduct market research to identify trends, competitors, and customer needs in the testing industry.
  • Proposal Development: Prepare and present proposals, contracts, and pricing strategies to secure new accounts.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with technical teams to ensure client requirements are met with high-quality testing services.
  • Reporting: Track sales performance, prepare reports, and provide insights to senior management.

Qualifications

To excel in this role, candidates should possess:

  • Experience: 2–10 years of experience in sales and business development, preferably in food, pharmaceutical, or biologics testing.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, biotechnology, or a related field. An MBA is a plus.
  • Skills: Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills. Knowledge of testing services and regulatory standards (e.g., FSSAI, NABL) is an advantage.
  • Location Flexibility: Willingness to work in Mumbai, Nasik, Bangalore, Kerala, or Delhi.
  • Proven Track Record: Demonstrated ability to achieve sales targets and build client relationships.
