Job Responsibilities

Depending on the role, your responsibilities at Neuland Labs may include:

  • Chemist/Officer (Intermediate/Clean Room, Production):
    • Handle reactor operations, raw material processing, and BMR review.
    • Ensure compliance with cGMP standards and safety protocols.
    • Perform hydrogenation and intermediate handling in production units.
  • Chemist/Officer (Quality Control):
    • Conduct analytical testing using HPLC, GC, LC-MS, and ICP-MS.
    • Review analytical documents and ensure lab compliance.
    • Support method development and validation for API quality assurance.
  • Executives (Production DCS Automation):
    • Operate and monitor Distributed Control Systems (DCS) for production.
    • Troubleshoot automation issues and optimize process efficiency.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet production targets.
  • Shift In-Charge (Production):
    • Oversee shift operations, ensuring smooth production workflows.
    • Coordinate with team members to maintain quality and safety standards.
    • Review documentation and ensure adherence to regulatory requirements.
  • Executives/Officers (Plant Engineering):
    • Perform mechanical maintenance, electrical repairs, and instrumentation tasks.
    • Manage utility systems, including AHU, HVAC, and instrumentation.
    • Ensure preventive and breakdown maintenance for operational continuity.

Qualifications and Experience

To qualify for these roles, candidates must meet the following criteria:

  • Chemist/Officer (Production, Quality Control):
    • Education: B.Sc/M.Sc (Chemistry) or B.Pharmacy.
    • Experience: 3-6 years in API production, intermediate handling, or analytical testing (HPLC, GC, LC-MS, ICP-MS).
    • Skills: Knowledge of cGMP, reactor handling, and analytical method validation.
  • Executives (Production DCS Automation):
    • Education: B.Sc/B.Tech (Chemical) or M.Sc.
    • Experience: 7-9 years in DCS automation and API production.
    • Skills: Expertise in automation systems and process optimization.
  • Shift In-Charge (Production):
    • Education: B.Sc/M.Sc or B.Pharmacy.
    • Experience: 4-6 years in production supervision within API or pharmaceutical industries.
    • Skills: Leadership, troubleshooting, and cGMP compliance.
  • Executives/Officers (Plant Engineering):
    • Education: B.Tech (Mechanical, Electrical, or Instrumentation).
    • Experience: 6-8 years in mechanical maintenance, electrical systems, or utility operations.
