Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:

1. Material Analysis:

• Sampling, inspection, and testing of materials.
• Identifying and highlighting defects in incoming materials.

1. Quality Control Documentation:

• Maintaining accurate and detailed QC documentation.
• Preparing Certificates of Analysis (COA).

1. Lab Instrumentation:

• Setting up, handling, and calibrating lab instruments.
• Conducting various lab tests including Refractive Index, Specific Gravity, Optical Rotation, Acidity, Fatty Acid, L.O.D, PH, GC, GCMS, etc.

1. Product Approval:

• Approving products for dispatch.

1. Good Laboratory Practices:

• Ensuring adherence to good laboratory practices.
• Handling quality claims and related matters.

1. Learning and Development:

• Willingness to learn olfactory and taste evaluation.
• Controlling and overseeing the sampling department.

1. Specialized Knowledge:

• Knowledge of KOSHER, HALAL, MSDS.
• Formulating essential oils and herbal extracts.

1. Export Documentation:

• Handling lab-related export documentation.

Requirements:

• 2 to 4 years of relevant experience in quality control.
• Familiarity with lab tests and equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and documentation skills.
• Understanding of KOSHER, HALAL, and MSDS requirements.
• Willingness to learn new evaluation techniques.
• Experience with essential oils and herbal extract formulation is a plus.
