Job Responsibilities

As a Due Diligence Specialist at ICON, you will play a critical role in ensuring the success of clinical trial projects. Your key responsibilities include:

  • Conducting due diligence assessments for clinical trial projects, including site selection, investigator qualification, and vendor evaluation.
  • Reviewing regulatory documents, study protocols, and other materials to identify potential risks and ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Supporting the development of risk mitigation strategies and actionable plans to address identified issues.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure timely completion of due diligence activities.
  • Maintaining accurate and detailed documentation of due diligence activities and findings to support audit readiness.

Qualifications and Skills

To excel in this role, candidates should possess the following qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in life sciences, regulatory affairs, or a related field.
  • Experience: 1-4 years of prior experience in clinical research, regulatory affairs, or a related field is preferred.
  • Skills:
    • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills to identify risks and compliance issues.
    • Excellent time management and task prioritization abilities to meet project deadlines.
    • Effective communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Additional Requirements: Familiarity with clinical trial regulations and a passion for advancing healthcare innovation.
