🎓 Eligibility Criteria

✅ Assistant Drugs Controller (India)

Educational Qualification (any one):

• Master’s or Bachelor’s Degree in:
  • Pharmacy, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Bio-Medical/Chemical/Mechanical/Electronics/Instrumentation/Polymer/Computer Science/Medical Electronics Engineering, Biotechnology, Chemistry, Microbiology, Life Sciences, Medicine (Clinical Pharmacology or Biochemistry)

Experience:

• 4 years (for Master’s) OR
• 6 years (for Bachelor’s)
  in medical devices: manufacturing / testing / regulation / designing

✅ Junior Scientific Officer

Education: Master’s in:

• Chemistry, Biochemistry, Pharmacy, Pharmacology, Microbiology, Medicine, Bacteriology, Biotechnology

Experience:

• 4 years in drug testing / standardisation / research

Desirable: PhD in any above subject

📌 Duties

Assistant Drugs Controller:

• Regulatory compliance, online applications, sampling, inspections, query handling, expert committee participation, and more.

Junior Scientific Officer:

• Drug sample testing using HPLC/IR, research & standardisation, training drug analysts.

📍 Job Location

• Assistant Drugs Controller: CDSCO, New Delhi (Transferable across India)
• Junior Scientific Officer: CDTL, Hyderabad (All India Liability)

🧾 1. Assistant Drugs Controller (India) – Level-11

• Pay Matrix Level: 11 (as per 7th CPC)
• Basic Pay: ₹67,700 per month
• DA (Dearness Allowance @ 50%): ₹33,850
• HRA (House Rent Allowance @ 27% or 18% or 9%):
  • X-Class Cities: ₹18,279
  • Y-Class Cities: ₹12,186
  • Z-Class Cities: ₹6,093
• TA (Transport Allowance): ₹3,600 – ₹7,200 (depends on city & grade pay)
• Other allowances: As per govt rules (may include medical, special duty, etc.)

👉 Total Monthly In-Hand Salary (Approx):

• ₹1,20,000 to ₹1,30,000 in metro cities (X-Class)
• ₹1,00,000 to ₹1,10,000 in smaller cities (Y/Z-Class)

• Pay Matrix Level: 8 (as per 7th CPC)
• Basic Pay: ₹47,600 per month
• DA (50%): ₹23,800
• HRA (same % as above):
  • X-Class: ₹12,852

• TA: ₹3,600 – ₹4,800

👉 Total Monthly In-Hand Salary (Approx):

• ₹85,000 to ₹95,000 in metro cities
• ₹75,000 to ₹85,000 in other areas
