Job Title:
Reviewer Engagement Associate
Location:
Pune, India
Employment Type:
9-month contract (Full-time)
Key Responsibilities:
✅ Data Management & Analysis:
- Assess journal recruitment needs and develop reviewer datasets.
- Identify and screen potential peer reviewers.
✅ Customer Engagement:
- Communicate with editorial boards to align recruitment goals.
- Ensure timely invitations and follow-ups for reviewer onboarding.
✅ Recruitment Process Management:
- Oversee the full reviewer lifecycle (identification → engagement → performance tracking).
- Collaborate with publishers to build diverse, high-quality reviewer boards.
✅ Process Improvement:
- Optimize recruitment strategies for efficiency and scalability.
- Propose enhancements to existing workflows.
Key Relationships:
- Reports to Team Lead, Reviewer Engagement.
- Works closely with Head of Reviewer Engagement and cross-functional teams.
Eligibility & Qualifications
Experience:
- 1+ years in STM (Science, Technology, Medicine) journal publishing.
- Understanding of peer review processes and reviewer recruitment.
- Experience managing external stakeholder relationships.
Skills Required:
✔ Strong data analysis and recruitment strategy skills.
✔ Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
✔ Proactive mindset with a focus on process improvement.
Education:
- University degree (preferably in a related discipline).
