Job Description
Kan Biosys, a leader in sustainable microbial solutions, is hiring a Junior Chemist/Chemist to join their dynamic team in Pune. The selected candidate will play a crucial role in chemical testing, quality control, and analytical operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct raw material and finished product testing (Organic manure, Bio-stimulants, Bio-fertilizers, etc.).
- Perform soil nutrient analysis and water sample testing.
- Operate and calibrate advanced lab instruments like HPLC, UV spectrophotometer, pH Meter, Flame Photometer, and AAS.
- Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to Good Laboratory Practices (GLP).
- Ensure compliance with quality standards and continual process improvement.

Eligibility Criteria
Education & Experience:
- MSc in Soil Chemistry / Soil Science & Agril Chemistry / Bio-Chemistry.
- 1–4 years of hands-on experience in chemical testing (preferred industries: Agriculture, Fertilizers, FMCG, Pharma, or Biotechnology).
Required Skills:
- Proficiency in analytical instruments (HPLC, AAS, UV Spectrophotometer, etc.).
- Knowledge of soil chemistry, organic manure testing, and water analysis.
- Strong documentation, time management, and communication skills.
- Self-motivated with a problem-solving approach.
