Job Description
As a Trainee Medical Coding Associate (MCA) at Wonder Worth Solutions, you will play a crucial role in the healthcare revenue cycle by accurately assigning medical codes to patient records. Your responsibilities will include:
- Reviewing patient medical records and documentation.
- Assigning appropriate ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS codes for diagnoses, procedures, and services.
- Ensuring compliance with coding guidelines and insurance policies.
- Preparing and submitting claims for insurance reimbursement.
- Collaborating with healthcare providers to clarify documentation when necessary.
- Maintaining confidentiality and accuracy in all coding processes.
Eligibility Criteria
- Education:Â Any Life Science graduate (B.Sc, B.Pharm, Microbiology, Biotechnology, etc.).
- Experience:Â 0-1 year (Freshers welcome; prior experience in medical coding or healthcare is a plus).
- Skills Required:
- Basic knowledge of medical terminologies, anatomy, and physiology.
- Strong analytical and communication skills.
- Proficiency in computer applications (MS Office, EHR systems).
- Willingness to work in flexible shifts (if required).
