Job Description: Drug Safety Physician
Key Responsibilities:
- Literature Review: Assess published biomedical reports to identify adverse drug reactions (ADRs) and non-individual case reports.
- Regulatory Compliance: Apply global pharmacovigilance guidelines (ICH-GCP, FDA, EMA) to determine case validity.
- Relevancy Assessment: Evaluate articles based on industry standards for inclusion in safety databases.
- Training & Guidance: Mentor junior team members on case identification and reporting criteria.
- Collaboration: Work with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to enhance team skills and compliance.
- Additional Tasks: Support team leads with ad-hoc pharmacovigilance activities.
Technical & Functional Skills Required:
✔ Strong knowledge of PV regulations (GVP, CIOMS, ICH)
✔ Experience in narrative writing & MedDRA coding
✔ Understanding of pharmacology & drug safety
✔ Excellent verbal & written communication
✔ Ability to work in a team-oriented environment
