Introduction to the Role
Are you a skilled Statistical Programmer looking to advance your career in the biopharmaceutical industry? AstraZeneca is seeking a Statistical Programmer II to join its dynamic team in Bangalore. In this role, you will develop and validate programs to generate datasets, tables, listings, and figures (TLFs) in compliance with CDISC, ICH-GCP, and regulatory standards. You will work on moderate-complexity clinical studies, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality deliverables.
Key Responsibilities (Accountabilities)
- Develop and validate SAS programs for SDTM, ADaM datasets, and TLFs following Alexion and CDISC standards.
- Support the creation of technical programming specifications under guidance.
- Ensure compliance with ICH guidelines, GCP, and regulatory requirements.
- Work independently on well-defined projects while collaborating with external vendors and contract programmers.
- Contribute to process improvements and standardization efforts.
- Communicate effectively with management and team members on project progress.
- Gain expertise in SAS programming, statistical concepts, and the drug development process.
Essential Skills & Experience
✔ 2-4 years of statistical programming experience in Pharma, Biotech, or CRO.
✔ Proficiency in SAS/Base, SAS/Macro, SAS/STAT for clinical trial data analysis.
✔ Understanding of CDISC standards (SDTM, ADaM) and relational databases.
✔ Strong problem-solving skills and ability to collaborate in a cross-functional team.
✔ Good communication skills to interact with global teams and stakeholders.
