Job Description: Business Analyst II (Pharma Domain)
Bristol Myers Squibb is hiring a Business Analyst / Knowledge Management Expert to join its Business Insights & Analytics (BIA) team in Hyderabad. This role is critical in enabling data-driven decision-making and strategic planning in the biopharmaceutical industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze gaps in the drug development pipeline and propose innovative trial design optimizations.
- Collaborate with IT teams to enhance data infrastructure, pipelines, and analytical tools.
- Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in pharma.
- Support competitive intelligence, market research, and real-world data analysis.
- Conduct statistical analysis, predictive modeling, and data mining to derive insights.
- Develop dashboards, reports, and presentations for stakeholders.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior analysts.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Bioinformatics, Pharmacy , Medicine (MBBS), or related fields.
- 3+ years of experience in pharma knowledge services (IT/Consulting/Pharma companies).
- Proficiency in databases (Evaluate Pharma, Adis, Avention, Datamonitor, Nexis).
- Strong skills in MS Office (Excel, PPT), BI tools, AWS, and OpenAI.
- Experience with real-world data (RWD), clinical datasets, and digital analytics.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
Preferred Skills:
- Knowledge of regulatory compliance in biopharma.
- Certifications in analytics, business intelligence, or data science.
