This full-time, non-supervisory role is perfect for fresh postgraduates in Analytical Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, or M.Pharm, seeking a hands-on position in AR&D.
As a Technical Associate, AR&D, you will work on analytical method development, instrument calibration, reaction monitoring, and stability studies. You’ll also be part of a collaborative team driving innovation in pharmaceutical standards while maintaining a strong GLP and safety culture.
🧪 Key Responsibilities
🔹 60% – Analytical Development
- Monitor reactions, assist in scale-up, and perform final analysis using HPLC, FTIR, UV, and wet chemistry.
- Develop methods per monographs or in-house protocols.
- Draft analytical reports and support synthetic lab projects.
🔹 15% – Lab Operations
- Execute IQ/OQ/PQ for new instruments.
- Manage lab inventory and ensure GLP compliance.
🔹 10% – Documentation
- Draft SOPs, reports, protocols, and maintain calibration schedules.
- Coordinate with purchasing for project supplies.
🔹 10% – Quality Systems
- Participate in ISO-9001 certification processes.
- Support internal/external QA audits and documentation.
🔹 5% – Diversity & Inclusion

🎓 Eligibility Criteria
- Qualification: MSc in Analytical/Organic Chemistry or M.Pharm
- Experience: 0–1 year in Analytical Research and Development (AR&D)
- Instruments Proficiency: HPLC, FTIR, UV Spectrophotometer, Wet Chemistry
- Environment Knowledge: Exposure to GMP/GLP, documentation protocols
- Other Skills: Strong technical writing, communication, and teamwork
💡 Additional Preferences
- Familiarity with ELN, Empower, NuGenesis, and general USP chapters.
- Comfortable with electronic lab notebooks and data handling tools.
