Job Role: Statistician – Operations
Role Purpose
As a Statistician, you will support statistical projects, assist clinical operations teams in data management, analysis, and reporting, and ensure high-quality research outcomes. This role involves programming, statistical analysis, and contributing to study designs to enhance clinical trial efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
✔ Develop and maintain programming code (SAS, R) for clinical studies.
✔ Perform quality control checks on statistical outputs following SOPs.
✔ Provide statistical analysis and programming support for clinical trials.
✔ Review clinical study protocols and suggest improvements.
✔ Manage randomization processes, including dynamic and adaptive methods.
✔ Oversee reporting activities and resolve data-related issues.
✔ Prepare statistical content (tables, figures, listings) for reports.
✔ Contribute to process improvements and knowledge-sharing initiatives.
✔ Communicate with internal & external stakeholders on project progress.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 1-3 years of experience in SAS & R programming.
- Strong knowledge of basic statistical methods (ANOVA, Chi-square tests).
- Understanding of advanced statistics (ANCOVA, machine learning).
- Excellent analytical, communication, and time management skills.
- Experience in data visualization & statistical presentation.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Statistics, Biostatistics, Mathematics, or related field.
- Experience in adaptive clinical trial designs.
- Simulation expertise (Monte Carlo, jackknife).
