Job Description

As a Medical Science Liaison (MSL), you will serve as the scientific face of Johnson & Johnson, engaging with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and healthcare professionals to discuss treatment trends, clinical trial data, and therapeutic advancements. This role is critical in shaping the external scientific landscape and ensuring the fastest access to innovative treatments for patients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • KOL Engagement: Identify, map, and profile KOLs in the assigned geography and therapy area. Build and maintain strong scientific relationships with them.
  • Medical Strategy: Represent the therapeutic area (TA) for medical and scientific affairs on cross-functional teams and external initiatives.
  • Insights Gathering: Collect and communicate customer insights to the franchise team to inform medical strategy.
  • Scientific Support: Act as a scientific resource for the sales team, providing training and updates on the latest medical developments.
  • Compliance: Ensure all activities adhere to local regulatory policies and industry codes of practice.
  • Travel: This role requires 70-80% travel for customer interactions and stakeholder engagements.

Qualifications

  • Educational Background:
    • Medical Graduate (MD/MBBS/BDS/MDS)
    • Pharmaceutical Degree (PharmD or PhD)
  • Experience:
    • 0-3 years of experience in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry.
    • Strong understanding of medical affairs and local regulatory policies.
