Job Description: Research Trainee – Analytical Sciences

Colgate-Palmolive is seeking a Research Trainee – Analytical Sciences to join its India Global Technology Center (GTC) in Mumbai. This is a 2-year traineeship designed to provide hands-on experience in analytical sciences while working on cutting-edge projects in Oral Care, Personal Care, and Home Care.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Stability Studies: Conduct stability studies on various product formulations.
  2. Lab Management: Manage stability chambers, ensure proper documentation, and adhere to ALCOA and cGMP practices.
  3. Equipment Maintenance: Perform daily monitoring of laboratory and chamber temperatures, and verify/calibrate analytical equipment.
  4. Raw Material Analysis: Conduct basic raw material analysis to establish/design specifications.
  5. Water Testing: Complete water testing and coordinate with third-party labs for external analysis.

  • Soft Skills: Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving abilities.
