Job Description

As a Technical Assistant at Cadila Pharmaceuticals, you will be responsible for managing various store activities related to raw materials. This role is critical to ensuring compliance with quality standards and cGMP (current Good Manufacturing Practices). Below are the key responsibilities of the position:

Responsibilities:

  1. Receipt of Raw Materials: Oversee the proper receipt of raw materials for the main pharma stores.
  2. Stacker Operating: Operate stackers for efficient material handling.
  3. Environmental Monitoring: Check environmental parameters such as temperature, relative humidity (RH), and pressure differences regularly.
  4. Balance Verification: Conduct daily verification of weighing balances and maintain documentation.
  5. Material Reconciliation: Perform reconciliation of materials and stock verification with both internal and external auditors.
  6. SAP Management: Maintain rack locations in SAP according to physical layout.
  7. Dispatch Coordination: Manage the dispatch of materials to loan license facilities and the Ethiopia plant.
  8. Handling Non-Conforming Materials: Manage the handling of retest, rejected, and expired materials.
  9. cGMP Compliance: Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and cGMP in all activities.
  10. Housekeeping Standards: Maintain proper housekeeping in the stores area.
  11. Training Attendance: Attend scheduled training sessions to stay updated on practices and regulations.
  12. Material Loading: Assist in the loading of Rifampicin at the manufacturing/store area.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Science, or a related field.
  • Familiarity with cGMP guidelines and quality compliance.
  • Experience in materials management or store activities within a pharmaceutical setting is a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to document processes accurately.
  • Proficient in using SAP or similar inventory management systems.
