Key Responsibilities

As a Document Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the accuracy and compliance of controlled documents. Your responsibilities will include:

  1. Document Formatting and Quality Control:
    • Reformat and prepare controlled documents such as Policies and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to meet current requirements and established templates.
    • Review document formats to ensure they meet quality standards.
  2. Coordination and Collaboration:
    • Coordinate the review of controlled documents by Subject Matter Experts (SMEs).
    • Work closely with SMEs and Quality Assurance to ensure the successful acceptance of controlled documents into operational use.
  3. Compliance and Quality Standards:
    • Ensure all personal work meets the required quality and timeliness standards.
    • Maintain familiarity with Labcorp’s Quality Systems, including Veeva Quality Docs.
  4. Additional Duties:
    • Perform other related administrative tasks as assigned.

Qualifications and Requirements

Education and Experience

  • Associate degree in Laboratory Science, Animal Technology, Nursing, or an equivalent field is required.
  • 1 year of experience in QC/QA or pre-clinical domains is mandatory.
  • Experience may be substituted for educational requirements.

Skills and Competencies

  • Technical Proficiency: Competent in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Attention to Detail: Excellent attention to detail to ensure accuracy in document formatting and review.
  • Regulatory Knowledge: Familiarity with GLP/GCP and regulatory requirements is a plus.
  • Customer Service: An appreciation for excellent customer service is desirable.
  • Language Skills: Proficiency in German is advantageous.
