Job Description
Position: IPDRG Professionals
Location: Coimbatore, Hyderabad, Pune
Experience: 1+ years in DRG coding
Certification: CIC or CCS certification is mandatory
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform daily audits on client data to ensure completeness and accuracy of coding.
- Utilize coding and clinical expertise to validate reimbursement appropriateness.
- Respond to provider appeals, client logics, and record reviews.
- Monitor acceptance rates for assigned clients and identify deviations.
- Report work performance to the team lead and meet productivity and quality benchmarks.
- Participate in ongoing training and development activities to stay updated with industry standards.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Certification in CIC or CCS with at least 1+ years of DRG coding experience.
- Strong knowledge of US healthcare, medical coding, billing, and RCM health plan operations.
- Familiarity with CMS, Medicaid regulations, ICD-10 CM, and DRG Expert.
- Practical clinical experience in a hospital, office, or nursing home setting is preferred.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
