2. Coding Compliance and Accuracy

• Verify medical records are coded correctly using ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS classification systems.

• Collaborate with medical coders and physicians to address documentation issues.

3. Audit and Quality Assurance

• Conduct audits to ensure coding accuracy and compliance with billing standards.
• Identify areas for improvement in medical record documentation and suggest corrective actions.
• Perform internal audits to assess compliance with regulatory standards.

4. Training and Guidance

• Provide guidance to physicians and coders to improve documentation accuracy.

• Familiarity with healthcare regulations and payer requirements.
