Job Overview
As a Safety Associate Trainee, you will be responsible for reviewing, assessing, and processing safety data and information across various service lines. You will work under the guidance of senior operations team members to ensure compliance with regulatory standards, SOPs, and internal guidelines. This role is perfect for individuals who are detail-oriented, passionate about pharmacovigilance, and eager to grow in the healthcare domain.
Key Responsibilities
- Training: Complete assigned trainings on time and prioritize learning.
- Data Processing: Process safety data in compliance with regulations, SOPs, and project requirements.
- Pharmacovigilance Activities: Perform tasks such as collecting and tracking Adverse Events (AEs), database entry, coding AEs and products, writing narratives, and handling literature-related activities.
- Quality Assurance: Identify and report quality issues to senior team members.
- Team Collaboration: Attend project team meetings and provide feedback on challenges or successes.
- Compliance: Ensure 100% compliance with people practices and processes.
- Additional Duties: Perform other tasks as assigned by the operations manager.
Qualifications
To be eligible for this role, you should have:
- A Bachelor’s Degree in a scientific or healthcare discipline or allied life sciences.
- High School Diploma or equivalent for certain roles.
- Good knowledge of medical terminology.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and web-based applications.
- Attention to detail, accuracy, and the ability to follow instructions.
- Time management skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.
