Job Location
The position is based in Bangalore, a hub for pharmaceutical and research industries in India.
Key Responsibilities
As a Research Associate – Process Chemist, your primary responsibilities will include:
- Lab and Manufacturing Activities: Ensure seamless transfer of lab processes to pilot or commercial scale with reproducible results.
- Experiment Execution: Perform a minimum of two lab experiments daily, focusing on process robustness, plant simulation studies, and process safety.
- Documentation: Generate project documents such as TTD, development reports, and campaign reports while maintaining 100% compliance with safety, quality, and data integrity standards.
- Synthesis: Synthesize reference standards, impurity markers, intermediates, and APIs to support method development and customer needs.
- Scale-Up Execution: Observe and provide feedback during batch execution at manufacturing facilities to improve processes and avoid failures.
- Literature Search: Utilize tools like Scifinder and Reaxys for literature searches to support research activities.
- Team Collaboration: Contribute individually or as part of a team, ensuring all laboratory notebooks are updated contemporaneously.
Mandatory Expectations

- Completion of mandatory training related to data integrity, health, and safety.
