Job Description: Associate Medical Writer
As an Associate Medical Writer, you will be responsible for developing high-quality, publication-ready scientific documents for SciComms and Medical Information clientele. This role requires a strong understanding of medical science, excellent writing skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with international clients and internal stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop scientific documents, including MSL slide decks, infographics, congress materials, literature searches, standard response letters, abstracts, posters, manuscripts, and HCP engagement content.
- Liaise with international pharmaceutical clients, authors, reviewers, and key opinion leaders across various therapeutic areas.
- Communicate effectively with team members, authors, clients, and vendors.
- Participate in workshops, seminars, and training to enhance skills and contribute to organizational objectives.
- Proofread and data-check scientific documents.
- Attend client and external meetings as needed.
Qualifications and Prerequisites
To be considered for the Associate Medical Writer position, candidates should meet the following requirements:
- 0 to 1 year of experience in scientific writing.
- PhD/MD (Pharmacology), PhD (Life Sciences), PharmD, or MPharm/M.Sc with a strong understanding of clinical research and medical communication.
- Clear, concise scientific writing style with excellent attention to detail and language skills.
- Ability to adapt writing style to different materials and target audiences.
- Basic knowledge of biostatistics.
- Literature reviewing and evaluation capabilities.
- Proficiency in MS Office.
