Responsibilities in the Role

As a Jr. Formulator, you will assist in the end-to-end formula and process development, ensuring adherence to regulatory standards and timelines. Key responsibilities include:

1. Literature Review
   • Perform literature searches from USFDA, regulatory websites, and pharmacopoeia.
   • Collate pharmaceutical data for utilization in product development.
2. Document Preparation
   • Assist in preparing QbD documents, stage gates, and development protocols for batch execution.
   • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (CFT) for timely documentation.
3. Product Development
   • Support the optimization of formulas and processes for robust product development.
   • Perform pre-formulation studies and reference product characterization.
   • Develop strategies using technical knowledge, literature, and risk assessments.
4. Procurement and Coordination
   • Assist in procurement of raw and packaging materials through supply chain management.
   • Support the preparation of manufacturing guidelines, FPS, PDCL, and related documentation.
5. Data Compilation
   • Gather, compile, and assess data from development cycles to monitor product performance and quality.
6. Problem-Solving
   • Address challenges such as document approval delays, slot unavailability, and non-feasible product identification through strategic solutions.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Education: Master’s degree in Pharmacy with a specialization in Pharmaceutics.
• Experience: Freshers or candidates with up to 1 year of R&D experience are encouraged to apply.
