As a Scientific Writer at MakroCare, you will play a crucial role in developing and managing high-quality medical and scientific communications. This includes writing, editing, reconciling, and handling various documents such as manuscripts, literature reviews, abstracts, posters, and slide sets for publication, presentation, or submission to regulatory authorities and clinical teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare manuscripts, literature reviews, abstracts, posters, and slide sets using data from clinical study reports, patient profiles, protocols, and other sources.
- Perform quality control (QC) checks and proofread literature reviews, abstracts, posters, and slide sets to meet customer expectations.
- Manage up to two assigned team projects simultaneously.
- Gather feedback from customers and support the implementation of customer management strategies.
- Comply with and support the group’s project management tools, standards, policies, and initiatives, adhering to MakroCare’s documentation specifications and templates.
- Track clinical trial milestones for assigned projects and maintain comprehensive records, including archiving.
- Ensure compliance with audit, SOP, and training requirements.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned.

Essential Requirements:

- B.Sc or M.Sc in Life Sciences / B Pharmacy / M Pharmacy (Preferred: Doctoral degree or qualification in medical sciences – Pharm D / BDS / MDS / MBBS / MD / PhD / equivalent).
- Proficiency in literature reviews, abstracts, standard operating procedures (SOPs), clinical trial analysis, document capture, records management, and Microsoft Office.
