Responsibilities in the Job
As a Medical Data Reviewer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and readiness of clinical patient data. Your responsibilities include:
- Reviewing structured clinical patient data to confirm medical plausibility and protocol adherence.
- Identifying anomalies in patient-reported data and coordinating with clinical sites for verification.
- Assessing investigation product dosing records for protocol adherence.
- Ensuring adverse events (AEs) and concomitant medications align with protocol expectations.
- Reviewing inclusion and exclusion criteria to verify patient eligibility for clinical trials.
- Confirming the accuracy of end-of-study (EOS) documentation.
- Evaluating laboratory results for completeness, protocol adherence, and safety indications.
- Verifying patient medical history and its alignment with other reported data.
- Reviewing line listings and data flow reports to maintain data accuracy across patients.
- Serving as a point of contact (POC) or back-up POC for team members.
- Participating in kick-off meetings, weekly team discussions, and client interactions.
Qualifications for the Role
To qualify for the position, candidates should possess:
- Educational Background: BDS/MDS degree with at least 2 years of work experience.
- Medical Knowledge: Understanding of clinical/medical data, medical terminology, pharmacology, anatomy, and physiology.
- Experience: Hands-on experience in data review or similar domains is highly advantageous.
- Skills: Strong motivational, coaching, and influencing skills to drive team performance.
- Multi-Tasking: Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Customer Focus: Exceptional customer service and relationship management skills.
