Job Overview: Research Associate

As part of ACM’s Study Management Department, the Research Associate plays a pivotal role in the successful execution of clinical trial setups and live study validation. This full-time position offers an opportunity to work closely with Clinical Research Associates (CRA) and Project Managers (PM), ensuring data accuracy and efficient clinical trial management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Utilize CTMS functionality for recording and addressing data cleaning-related action items and specimen-related tasks.
  • Manage all aspects of data cleaning, including liaising with sites, escalating issues to CRA or ACM PM, resolving queries, and releasing samples from the CTMS system.
  • Re-issue laboratory reports based on requests from sites or sponsors and post-data cleaning activities.
  • Perform clerical duties, including document filing and request form management.
  • Actively contribute to ACM’s services, driving organizational growth and profitability.
  • Ensure compliance with policies for secure and confidential processing and storage of patient and laboratory data.
  • Continuously enhance knowledge through in-house training, certifications, and industry resources.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum: Graduate degree in a life sciences field (mandatory).
  • Preferred: Master’s degree in fields such as Biochemistry, Microbiology, Chemistry, or Biotechnology.

Preferred Skills

  • Familiarity with relational databases and reporting tools.
  • Proficiency in computer usage.
  • Prior experience in healthcare or central laboratory operations is preferred, but fresh postgraduates are welcome to apply.
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize workloads.
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving capabilities.

Physical Requirements

Frequent walking, standing, or squatting.

Ability to exert 20-50 pounds of force occasionally and up to 10 pounds frequently.
