Responsibilities in the Role
As a Drug Safety Analyst – Literature Specialist, you will:
- Oversee data acquisition and management processes to support pharmacovigilance activities.
- Construct and execute search strategies using biomedical databases like OVID, Embase, Medline, and PubMed.
- Analyze and review scientific literature for regulatory submissions and health agency requests.
- Maintain awareness of relevant technologies to improve content acquisition.
- Collaborate with internal and external teams to meet business and process objectives.
- Drive innovation to enhance efficiency in literature searches and data analysis.
- Manage vendor relationships for content acquisition.
Required Qualifications
- Educational Background:
- PhD, Pharm D, M.Pharm, B.Pharm, BDS, B.Tech/M.Tech (Life Sciences), M.Sc./B.Sc. (Life Sciences)
- Experience:
- Minimum 4+ years in pharmacovigilance.
- At least 1 year of hands-on experience in crafting and executing search strategies.
