Job Responsibilities
As an Analytical Specialist, your key responsibilities will include:
- Method Development: Develop sensitive and robust analytical methods for the characterization of monoclonal antibodies (mAb) using HRMS.
- Method Validation: Validate the developed methods to ensure they meet the highest industry standards.
- Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve any issues related to analytical methods.
- Instrument Handling: Operate and troubleshoot high-end analytical instruments, including HRMS, Synapt, Xevo QTOF, 2D LC QTOF, etc.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that methods are aligned with regulatory requirements and product development goals.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with the latest developments in analytical technologies to enhance testing and development processes.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, candidates should possess:
- Educational Qualifications: MSc, M.Tech, M.Pharm, or Ph.D. in Life Sciences or a related field.
- Experience: A minimum of 5-10 years of hands-on experience with analytical instruments such as HRMS, Synapt, Xevo QTOF, 2D LC QTOF, or similar technologies.
- Technical Skills: Strong expertise in method development, validation, and troubleshooting using mass spectrometry techniques.
- Problem-Solving Abilities: Ability to resolve complex method-related issues efficiently.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively collaborate with teams and stakeholders.
Skills Required
- Expertise in High-Resolution Mass Spectrometry (HRMS)
- Proficiency with Synapt, Xevo QTOF, 2D LC QTOF
- Method development and validation for mAb characterization
- Troubleshooting complex analytical issues
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements in analytical testing
