As a Medical Writer/Reviewer at Ghintell, you will be entrusted with crafting high-quality, scientifically accurate, and compliant medical communication documents. Your key responsibilities include:
- Developing scientifically accurate and medically relevant materials that align with branding guidelines.
- Writing, reviewing, and proofreading content to ensure precision and scientific accuracy.
- Performing quality checks on all materials to uphold Ghintell’s standards.
- Managing workflows and referencing in Veeva PromoMats and Medcomms platforms.
- Coordinating with cross-functional teams including the project lead, medical writing lead, graphics team, and customer-facing teams.
- Staying compliant with industry regulations and ensuring that content is supported by up-to-date references.
- Providing mentorship to junior writers and fostering collaboration to develop best practices.
Qualifications and Requirements
To excel in this role, candidates should possess the following qualifications and skills:
- Education: Advanced degree in life sciences, pharmacy, medicine, or a related field. A PhD or PharmD is preferred.
- Experience: 2-5 years of experience in medical/scientific writing within pharmaceutical companies or medical communication agencies.
- Knowledge:
- Strong understanding of medical terminology, data analysis, and regulatory requirements.
- Familiarity with AMA style and regulatory guidelines from FDA and EMA.
- Expertise in tools like Veeva Vault PromoMats, referencing software (e.g., EndNote), and other medical communication platforms.
- Skills: Exceptional written and oral communication, attention to detail, and the ability to deliver high-quality work under tight deadlines.
- Collaboration: Strong teamwork abilities and a proactive mindset.
