Responsibilities of the AE – SPOC Role

The AE – SPOC (Single Point of Contact) plays a critical role in the management of Pharmacovigilance (PV) processes for assigned Patient Support Programs (PSP). The responsibilities of this role include:

  • Liaising with Internal and External Stakeholders: Establish and manage end-to-end PV needs, ensuring clear communication with various teams and partners.
  • AE Identification and Reporting: Ensure that the team is well-versed in adverse event (AE) identification and can report it within 24 hours.
  • Timely AE Reconciliation and Source Data Verification: Oversee the reconciliation process, ensuring that all data is accurately verified and reported.
  • PV Compliance Reporting: Prepare and submit timely pharmacovigilance compliance reports to ensure regulatory standards are met.
  • Training and Development: Collaborate with trainers to conduct training on Targeted Needs Identification (TNI) for the workforce, ensuring compliance and readiness for any changes in PV processes.

Qualification Requirements for AE – SPOC

To be eligible for the AE – SPOC position at Indegene, candidates must meet the following qualifications:

  • Educational Qualification: A Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Life Science, Pharmacy, or a related field.
  • Experience: 2-4 years of experience in Pharmacovigilance (PV) management.
  • Client-Facing Experience: Experience interacting with clients, ensuring excellent service delivery and relationship management.
  • Language Proficiency: Strong command of written and verbal English, with the ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
