The ICMR-PORA MED ADHERE project focuses on assessing the effectiveness of a medical adherence app and a manual pill organizer on medication adherence and clinical outcomes in geriatric patients taking multiple medications. The project is community-based, spanning three sites: KEM (Vadu), AFMC (Pune), and SJMC (Bengaluru), with approximately 700 patients enrolled in a factorial design RCT.
Position Details:

Preferred Qualifications:
- Education: Science graduate with 2-3 years of field experience in community-based clinical studies.
- Language Proficiency: English and Kannada (ability to read, write, translate, and transcribe).
- Experience:
- Required: Fieldwork experience, office-based work availability, willingness to travel, and field management skills.
- Desirable: Prior fieldwork experience.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency with computers and electronic tablets.
- Ownership and ability to use a smartphone or electronic tablet.
- Additional Skills:
- Knowledge of clinical research and ethics in public health/community-based studies.
- Strong communication skills.
- Fluency in Marathi is a plus.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Monitor and conduct home visits according to the project protocol.
- Complete informed consent forms and case report forms (CRFs).
- Identify and visit study participants at their homes.
- Maintain good computer knowledge and efficient use of electronic devices.
