They are currently hiring for the position of Executive – Downstream Operations for their Biosimilars Production Downstream division.
Role Summary
This role involves managing downstream operations for commercial batch manufacturing of PEG-GCSF (E.coli-based product). The Executive will work closely with cross-functional teams and ensure adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and EHS (Environmental Health and Safety) policies.
Key aspects of the role include handling critical equipment, maintaining process efficiency, and ensuring timely batch completion through coordination and teamwork. Candidates should be comfortable with 24×7 shift operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Batch Manufacturing:
- Manage downstream operations for the commercial production of PEG-GCSF.
- Handling Critical Equipment:
- Operate equipment such as Chromatography columns and systems, Ultrafiltration and Di-filtration systems, and Process vessels.
- Protein Purification Concepts:
- Apply expertise in Chromatography, Filtration, and Centrifugation techniques for protein purification.
- Shift Work:
- Participate in a 24×7 shift system, ensuring round-the-clock operations.
- Compliance with GMP & EHS Policies:
- Maintain strict adherence to current GMP guidelines and safety protocols.
- Cross-functional Coordination:
- Work with other teams to ensure timely completion of production batches.
- SOP & Operational Control Adherence:
- Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Operational Control Procedures closely to ensure process consistency.
Educational Qualifications
- Required Qualification:
- B.Tech in relevant fields (Biotechnology, Chemical Engineering, or related disciplines).
- Required Experience:
- 0–3 years of experience in downstream operations or related roles in biotechnology or pharmaceuticals.
- Freshers with knowledge of protein purification techniques are encouraged to apply.
