Key Responsibilities – R&D Lab Chemist (Organic Synthesis)
- Perform multi-step organic synthesis on laboratory scale
- Handle reactions, work-up, distillation, crystallization, and filtration
- Maintain accurate lab notebooks and follow strict SOPs & GLP practices
- Assist senior scientists in new route scouting and process development
- Support scale-up trials and technology transfer activities
- Coordinate with QA/QC for analytical method development using HPLC, GC, NMR, FTIR
- Ensure safety protocols and proper waste disposal in the laboratory
Eligibility & Qualifications Required
- M.Sc. in Organic Chemistry / Medicinal Chemistry from a recognized university
- Freshers (2023/2024/2025 pass-out) and candidates with 1–3 years experience are eligible
- Strong academic knowledge of organic reaction mechanisms and lab techniques
- Hands-on experience with TLC, column chromatography, distillation is a plus
- Good communication and documentation skills
- Willing to work full-time at Pune R&D facility
